What we tried
We tried deleting the set entirely and letting the stage be the location — C-stands, flags, film lights, all of it in shot.
What happened
The ink reads as a character several beats before it reads as an effect. That turn is the film.
What we learned
We learned white is the loudest colour you can cut to.
